Description
The inspiration for my expressionist landscape painting is my love of landscape in general, be they rom my travels or simply the local landscape.
I particularly love to work with colour,
Landscapes are wonderful to paint, even if they are imaginary. They provide delicious colours, and wonderful organic shapes and lines.
The origin of my painting was a mono print from a paint palette – just splotches of colour left at the end of a painting day. I particularly liked the black splodge in the middle, and built my landscape around this, also incorporating some of the mono print underneath.
